Hope Looks Different to Everyone

Emily Amick talks about engaging in civics in a sustainable way

You may remember our pod episode with Emily Amick back in July called Politics is Self Care. Red Wine & Blue was lucky enough to get to talk to her again right before the Thanksgiving break — this time, about the election results. To watch that full conversation on YouTube, click here.

As Emily says, voting is a good way to move us forward but it’s not the only way. And now that the election is over, we have a lot more work ahead of us. But we have to take care of ourselves too, and not just our democracy. So it’s important to find the right balance for everyone.

At Red Wine & Blue we are spending these next few weeks focused on our community as we prepare for 2025. Red Wine & Blue relies on donations from the community to fund the important work that we do all year long. Today is Giving Tuesday and we have a generous donor who has agreed to match up to $15,000 that we raise today! That means your gift of $10 becomes $20, $50 becomes $100! You get to double your impact!

Every single donation makes a real difference. You can donate here.

Thanks for being part of our community and helping us work together, share ideas, and build on what works. We’re here to lift each other up and lean on each other when things are tough.

We got this because we got each other!
