Someone should do something

Joy Bennett knew that she could be that someone and won her city council race last November.

Joy Bennett ran for Mason City Council for the first time in 2019 because she wanted to do something to improve this situation for her neighbors. She didn’t win that year, but that didn’t stop her. She kept doing the work and won her race in 2023.
