This bill will protect our right to access basic birth control options like condoms, the birth control pill, the morning after pill and IUDs. In 2022 the House voted on this same bill and it really shouldn’t be surprising that 195 Republican members of Congress voted against the Right to Contraception. But wait, don’t they say they won’t go after birth control? That’s right, the extremists in our government often say they won’t go after birth control, and then they still go after it. They vote against it. They support legislation and court rulings that undermine it. They cannot be trusted.
So what can you do? You can call your senator’s office right now. It usually takes less than two minutes and using this link will connect you directly to your Senate office. It’s important that we tell our elected representatives how we feel. They keep track of this information and it really does make a difference.
