This week on the pod we sat down with Congresswoman Sara Jacobs from San Diego. Representative Jacobs is the youngest member of the Democratic leadership in the House and she brings a unique perspective to her work. As a young woman, Rep. Jacobs was the first person in Congress to talk about period tracking apps. In fact, many of her colleagues didn’t even know that such a thing existed or even that women would need to track their cycles!
Jacobs is working on important legislation called the My Body, My Data Act to protect our reproductive health and data. Check out our interview with her to learn more about her work on this issue.
