It’s been one week since the election, and we aren’t going to sugar coat it. It’s been a tough week. But we’ve been here before. We know that there are hard times to come but we also know that together, we can get through this. And during the days ahead, we will see new leaders emerge.
As Jasmine pointed out in this week’s podcast, in 2016 she woke up wishing she had done more. By the 2018 election she had run for office for the first time and won, becoming a Georgia State Representative. Last week, she won her fourth election.
In fact, each of our podcast hosts found their voice during the four years following Donald Trump’s first election. During the next four years, more women will step up and run for office, volunteer on a campaign, speak up at their school board meeting or create a TroubleNation group.
More women will find their voice and take their spot as a leader in their community. And frankly, we can’t wait to see what you all can do.
